Public Relations Executive at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) Job Description:

- Assist in media related research for speeches, articles and annual reports. - Maintain and update information of HBMSU news website.

 - Maintain and update the media contact database. - Support in organizing special events, such as press conferences, informal media gatherings…

 - Follow-ups with media when necessary. - Work closely with the different departments, especially Learners Relationship Management, to stay updated with their news and activities. - Implement the social media strategy, coordinating with the various teams to ensure its effectiveness and encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the university’s products and services.

- Manage day-to-day presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.

- Become an advocate of the University in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

 - Manage a Blogger outreach program with the faculty and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the University.

 - Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

- Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and Learner Accessibility teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion. Skills: - Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages speaking & writing.

 - Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios. - Public Relations, Marketing and Community Management basic experience, a plus. - Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships. - Flexible and fast moving office administration.

 - Ability effectively to manage deadlines, where necessary across time zones.

 - Ability to learn and multi-task. About Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU):
