Poster Examples From the Fall.

Girls this is ONLY the 2nd set of posters done for the internship, yours are the 3rd GROUP.

I think there is still a long way to go when it comes to a A grade poster.

DO NOT USE THESE POSTERS AS THE GUIDE to EXCELLENCE.

What you need to keep in mind is the simple fact that the objective of the poster is to help FUTURE students make placement choices.

1. the poster is the last thing you will do as a CCMS student and should show that you can write, present and create excellent stories from a variety of information.

2. think in terms of copy and art, BALANCE!

3. remember the audience and the purpose.

4. use links to send students to images, video, audio or any other additions to the poster.

5. your poster should be better, in terms of content, layout and design than what you did the day you joined Zayed University!

Sky News Opportunity

Dear All,

Hope this email finds you well.  As you know we have a Sky News Arabia Program “SNAP4”.

SNAP internship has been developed by Sky News Arabia to prove Emirati graduates and GCC with the opportunity to gain hands-on work at the 24 hour Arabic news channel. Selected graduates and students will be given professional training in the Sky News Arabia’s state of the art broadcast facility by working alongside full-time staff and undergoing evaluation from senior managers within Sky News Arabia.

The students who will pass the interview will join this program for internship to be conducted at Skynews Arabia. The program lasts 5 to6 weeks in which they will be assigned to the appropriate sections according to the criteria that best matches their skills.  I would like to come with my students “after your approval” who already finished the SNAP3 to talk about their experience in this program.

There is no portal for the students to apply to the program, the way we select students is by meeting with their Professors, Advisors and Deans of Media, Journalism, IT and Graphic Design and informing them that students selected need to meet certain academic requirements.
