It is mandatory that you attend EVERY Tuesday workshop, attendance will be taken.

I will be asking you for a CV (electronic copy) and a parental permission form with your site choices (attached) ASAP so we can start the process of getting you placed.

The documents you need to submit are:

· Copy of your passport (plus the last page)
· Copy of your family book
· Copy of your Emirates ID
· Passport picture
· Internship Parental consent form (attached)
Please send these copies to me ELECTRONICALLY! I do not need nor want hardcopies!

The parental agreement form to complete is attached to this email message.

You can see a list of sites students have been to in the past by going to the resource blog for internships,http://ccmsinternshipdxb.blogspot.ae/.

You will also nee to submit an electronic version of your CV, goto this site for writing and format samples.

The meetings will take place every Tuesday, 12-1pm in the R-L1-071.

In these meetings, you will receive

· Briefing on the exact internship procedures
· Information on  CCMS requirements you need to fulfill in order to pass
· job interview training
· First hand experience reports from past interns

One very important item on the "to do"-list for Term A is the completion of your e-portfolios. We will take time during the meetings to explain what exactly you have to upload on your e-portfolios. The portfolios will be reviewed at the end of your student career and are part of the graduation procedures.

Am looking forward to seeing you all at our first meeting Tuesday and wish you a great start into the semester.
